Mike Hanback

Mike Hanback has hunted most species of American big game, but his passion is big deer with big racks. Hanback hunts for giant whitetails with bow and gun in 5 to 10 states and several Canadian provinces each fall.

Hanback is a co-host of Versus Country's Winchester Whitetail Revolution and this fall he will host is own show on Versus Country; Remington’s The Buck Stops Here with Mike Hanback.

Hanback is one of the most prolific and respected deer-hunting writers in the world. He is columnist and field editor for the NRA’s American Hunter magazine, with 1 million plus readers. Hanback graduated with honors in English from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn. He lives in Virginia with his wife and two sons.
