Huntley Ritter

Huntley Ritter works to live and lives to hunt. Residing in western Montana with his wife, Huntley has a passion for wild places, and the concept of living off the land echos through everything in his life. Though Huntley has hunted all across the United States and Canada he is a down to earth outdoorsman that cares greatly about the game he pursues and the environment in which they live. Hunting is not a sport for Huntley it’s a lifestyle, one in which he has given great dedication and sacrifice in order to be a part of over the years.

Huntley doesn’t judge a trophy by size as much as he does the overall experience of pursuit and being in wild places with fair chase. Being the youngest host in Outdoor Television, Huntley is the everyman, a real person in which audiences are able to join on journeys near and far while always having a laugh along the way. Huntley’s favorite type of hunting is do it your-self hunts on public land and finding secret areas others have over looked.

Huntley counts bow hunting for Elk, Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Antelope, Caribou, and Moose to be at the top of his list for enjoyment, however, the seasons often dictate his interest, for he is a passionate bird hunter both upland and waterfowl, as well as an avid fly fisherman. There’s no place Huntley would rather be than in the rocky mountains, fly fishing for wild trout and chasing game with either a bow or rifle. Though he hunts all across North America he always looks forward to coming home to Montana and hunting on public land.

Huntley owns a Montana based production company, which produces not only outdoor programming but national commercials, films, cable programming and new media projects. Huntley has worked for many years in the entertainment business and producing outdoor television rates as one of his favorite things to do as it combines his passion for the outdoors with his passion for production.
